Read these six lines before buying
1. When does the trial start?
Usually on delivery, but confirm it.
2. Is there a minimum break-in period?
Some brands require you to keep the mattress for a set number of nights before a comfort return. WinkBeds currently requires at least 30 nights before initiating a return or exchange.
3. Is pickup free?
“Free returns” can still exclude original delivery, white-glove service or haul-away charges.
4. What happens after an exchange?
An exchange may start a shorter second trial or end eligibility for future trials at the same address.
5. Is the adjustable base covered by the same trial?
Often no. Mattress and furniture policies can be completely different. Saatva currently lists its adjustable base as final sale, while Nectar lists a 60-night furniture trial for adjustable bases.
6. What condition must the mattress be in?
Check stain, damage and law-label requirements. A protector can be useful partly because warranty and return policies may exclude unsanitary or damaged products.
