What Nectar says
Nectar's FAQ explicitly includes adjustable frames in its recommended support setups. Its current adjustable-base guidance also explains that foam, latex and many pocketed-coil hybrids are generally suited to articulation.
What to verify before ordering
- Match the mattress size to the adjustable base size.
- Confirm the third-party base provides proper support if you are not using Nectar's own base.
- Check whether your decorative bed frame can physically accommodate the adjustable unit.
- Read mattress and furniture trial terms separately.
Using a non-Nectar adjustable base
Nectar allows similar suitable adjustable frames, but the third-party base still needs to support the mattress size and weight correctly. Check the base manufacturer’s instructions and make sure the mattress can articulate without bunching or sliding.
Do not overlook the surrounding bed frame
An adjustable base may fit inside many decorative frames, but drawers, cross-supports, low rails or unusual dimensions can interfere. Measure the open interior of the frame before assuming the mattress-base combination will fit the bedroom setup.
Quick compatibility checklist
Before checkout, save the exact mattress model name, mattress height, base model, bed-frame dimensions and current return policy. If any part of the setup comes from a different brand, confirm support and warranty requirements on both sides. Re-check the manufacturer pages on purchase day because specifications and policies can change.
