Both bases cover the core job of adjustable positioning, but ownership terms are materially different. A longer warranty does not replace a trial, and a generous trial does not replace long-term warranty coverage. Decide which risk matters more to you before comparing extras such as presets, massage or app control.
Also measure frame fit, finished bed height and total supported weight. Powered bases are heavy furniture, so delivery, setup and return logistics should be part of the purchase decision from the beginning.
Plan for the full bed
The base is only one part of the final height and weight of the setup. Add the mattress profile, frame height and any topper before deciding. If you are building a Split King, confirm that both mattress halves, controls and fitted sheets match the configuration you intend to use.
Compare the service path
If the base develops a problem, the warranty process matters as much as the warranty length. Check how support is requested, whether replacement parts are shipped, and whether in-home service is available in your area.
